A long overdue reissue of Barrington Levy’s classic `Englishman’ set, originally released in 1979, regarded as one of the most important albums from that period that paved the way for what was to become known as dancehall.
Includes the hits `Look Youthman’, and `Blackheart Man’. Recorded at Channel One & King Tubbys studios, produced by Henry `Junjo’ Lawes and mixed by Scientist & King Jammy. Barrington Levy was a massive reggae star of the early 80’s and still records and tours to this day, particularly in the UK and US. He has a massive worldwide fan base helped by constantly touring and having some of his biggest hits - including `Here I Come’ and `Under Mi Sensi’ - sampled over the years by Hip Hop, Jungle and Dance artists, earning him a new generation of fans.
